The New Balance 998 debuted in 1993 and was among the first 99X runners to use ABZORB cushioning. Still made in the USA, it pairs an ABZORB and ENCAP midsole with a suede and mesh upper and a grippy rubber outsole, giving a premium retro shoe built for real everyday comfort, city walks and journeys.
