The short version

Kingofrun is a shop for running shoes and everyday sneakers. This page explains what stays on your device, what you send us, and what you can ask us to remove.

We use your details to run the shop: to reply when you write, to send news you asked for, and to complete an order at checkout. We do not sell a list of customers.

This notice was updated in October 2026. If it changes, this page shows the current version.

Who is responsible

The shop is run by BUSINESS 755 CORPORATE LLC, 8 Avenue du 8 Mai 1945, 77270 Villeparisis, France. It is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to contact@kingofrun.fr with any question about your data.

What stays on this device

Some of the shop never leaves your browser. It is there so the next visit still feels like yours.

  • Your bag is saved on this device until you remove a pair or clear the browser data.
  • Favorites are saved on this device when you tap the heart. They are not tied to an account.
  • Your cookie choice is saved on this device so we do not ask the same question on every page.

What you send us

You send us information when you choose to. The contact form asks for your name, your email, and a message. The newsletter asks for your email and a clear yes to Kingofrun news and promotions.

We use a contact message to reply and to follow up on that conversation. We use a newsletter email only to send the updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time.

If you want a newsletter subscription or a contact message removed, use the contact form and say what you want taken off.

Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, we use the email and password you choose so you can sign in and see orders placed with that account.

You can ask us to close an account or correct an email address through the contact form. We will need enough detail to know the request is yours.

Checkout

Delivery, tax, and payment are confirmed at checkout, before an order is placed. Payment details are collected there, not on the product pages and not in the contact form.

The checkout step receives what it needs to take payment and arrange delivery: the pairs in your bag, the size you selected, and the delivery details you enter. Read the delivery and returns pages for how an order moves after that.

Cookies and measurement

Optional analytics run only if you accept them. They help us see which parts of the collection people browse. Marketing measurement is also optional and stays off until you allow it. The cookie policy lists each choice, and Cookie settings in the footer lets you change your mind.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of providers to run the shop. Each one only receives what it needs for its job. Some are based outside the European Union; where they are, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

  • Shopify: the catalogue, checkout, payment, orders and order emails.
  • Vercel: hosts the website and keeps short technical logs.
  • Supabase (EU region): site content and staff sign-in for our back office.
  • Resend (EU region): delivers contact messages to our inbox, and holds the newsletter list and sends newsletter emails.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads: audience and ad measurement, only if you accept them.
  • Microsoft Clarity: anonymous browsing heatmaps, only if you accept analytics.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for up to 3 years after our last exchange. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept for 10 years, as French accounting law requires. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or take a copy of your data, object to its use, or limit it. Write to contact@kingofrun.fr and we reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or to the data protection authority where you live.
